An online workshop took place as a joint webinar between Nagoya University Graduate School of Law and the University of Nottingham School of Law, titled "Current Issues on Digital Markets/Platforms Regulation," on November 21 (Tuesday).

During the workshop, Professor Dai Yokomizo and Professor Manabu Matsunaka from the Graduate School of Law at Nagoya University presented on their research activities regarding the Cross-border nature of Digital Platform Transactions, leading to an enthusiastic discussion. Professor Aris Georgopoulos from the University of Nottingham reported on WTO-related issues for services in the area of digital platforms and cross-border issues of Corporate Social Responsibility of digital platforms.

As a result of the workshop, collaboration with the University of Nottingham confirmed the potential for joint research on digital platforms. Plans are underway for future in-person (or hybrid format) workshops and symposiums, fostering active research exchange. This workshop served as a crucial forum that opened up prospects for future research endeavors.

2023年11月21日（火）、「"Current Issues on Digital Markets/Platforms Regulation"」と題したノッティンガム大学とのオンラインワークショップが開催されました。 

　当該ワークショップでは、名古屋大学大学院法学研究科の横溝大教授(研究代表者)および松中学教授（研究分担者）が、デジタルプラットフォーム取引の越境性に関する研究活動について報告し、その後、熱心な議論が展開されました。また、ノッティンガム大学のAris Georgopoulos教授がデジタルプラットフォーム分野におけるWTO関連問題および企業の社会的責任に関連する国境を越えた問題について報告しました。 ワークショップの結果、ノッティンガム大学との協力により、デジタルプラットフォームに関する共同研究の可能性について確認されました。今後は、対面（またはハイブリッド形式）でのワークショップやシンポジウムの開催が計画され、これにより研究の活発な交流が期待されます。今回のワークショップは、将来的な研究の展望が開かれた重要な場となりました。
